Directions

Please follow all laws and rules, as usual anyway, but especially, since you will be driving, on Federal land, near the Pentagon. You DO NOT want to be stopped on ROUTE 110 South, as it passes near the Pentagon. Our hearts do go out to the families that lost loved ones, in the September 11, 2001 attacks, in New York, and the Pentagon.

From Georgetown:

  1. Take M Street across Key Bridge.
  2. Turn left at second light (Lee Highway).
  3. Go through light at I - 66 East, take Exit 75 (Route 110 South).
  4. Take Route 110 South, for 4 miles, turns into Route 1 South.
  5. Turn left onto 27th Street, Hyatt is on the left.

From Dulles International Airport and I - 66 West:
  1. [pay for the tolls].
  2. This road will turn into Route I - 66 east.
  3. Stay on I- 66 East, take Exit 75 (Route 110 South).
  4. Take Route 110 South, for 4 miles, turns into Route 1 South.
  5. Turn left onto 27th Street, Hyatt is on the left.

From Richmond or South of Washington DC:
  1. Take I - 95 North. If you stay on I - 95 North, inside the Washington DC beltway, it turn into I 395 North.
  2. Take Exit 7A (Glebe Road South).
  3. Stay on Glebe Road South, for 5 lights, until you reach a "T" section, of Glebe Road and Jefferson Davis Highway (Route 1). Make a left onto to Route 1 North.
  4. Take Route 110 North, for a few blocks.
  5. Turn right onto 27th Street, Hyatt is on the left.

From Baltimore or North of Washington DC:
  1. Take I - 95 South. Then take I - 95 / I - 495 South (Please remember that the beltway around Washington DC is generally called I - 495, but the Eastern side of the beltway is referred as I -95 and I - 495).
  2. Take this over the Woodrow Wilson Bridge, into Virginia.
  3. Take Exit 1 (first exit after the bridge), this is a three part exit. Take the middle exit, for Route 1 North, also known as Jefferson Davis Highway.
  4. Take Route 1 North, for approximately 5 miles.
  5. Turn right onto 27th Street, Hyatt is on the left.

From Gaithersburg or Northwest of Washington DC:
  1. Take I - 270 South onto I - 495 South.
  2. Take I - 495 South and exit onto George Washington Parkway South, after crossing over the bridge into Virginia [American Legion Bridge]. George Washington Parkway starts from here, so there is only one way, which is South
  3. Travel 10 miles on George Washington Parkway South, and take exit for Reagan National Airport. Stay in Right lane. Follow the signs for and into Crystal City, Route 1 South.
  4. Take Route 110 South exit, Turn left at the first light (27th Street)
  5. Hyatt is on the left.
